As parents, we have the ability to impact our children like no one else can. While the mother’s role of nurturing and caring is vitally important, without the father’s approval and validation the child will fill a void. Every person needs the blessing from their father. Many adults still struggle today; low self-esteem, working all the time, trying to prove that they’re good enough…all because of their fathers lack of affirmation. Their father never told them “I’m proud of you.” He never made them feel approved, so they’re still trying to measure up, gain this approval that can only come from a father.Real men hug their children.

That’s it !!! Thank you so much. God bless you too.
Could you please provide the number of the sermon referenced above. I saw it on Father’s Day a few years ago and had it recorded but it got erased somehow and I would love to watch it again. It was all about how important a father’s love is to there children and it inspired me to be a better father. Not that I am not but I have step daughters that I have struggled to get along with over the years and this sermon made me want to look past my previous differences with my step daughters and focus on how I interact with them to turnaround how we are with each other.
All I can tell you is it came from July 26, 2015 air date. I’ll snoop around and see if I can find it for you. God bless.
I found it! Yay! I hope it helps you with your stepchildren.
